7:00 pm, on a Monday

Honestly, best meal I've had in a long time.

Battersby is small. So small. But so good. We had the tasting menu, the seven course (go big or go home).

First of all, sit at the bar. That way, you can get full access and attention from their awesome bartender. He makes very wonderful drinks that are also very potent.

Their kale salad is just as delicious as reviewed by others. I told them I don't eat meat (but love fish) and that please don't make my BF not eat meat just because of me. Which they were more than accommodating about. One of the best things we had there was the sunchoke, parmesan and watercress salad. Soooo good. So simple, but genius. The fist course was delicious, as was the pasta (uni spaghetti). I had lobster for my last savory course. The BF had a fennel sausage and veg dish that he really liked. Dessert was first a little mini orange creme soda, followed by another dessert...of which I cannot for the life of me remember because I do not, as a rule, like any dessert I have ever had at a restaurant. But go to Battersby. GO RIGHT NOW.
