Crudo e bufala Croccante: Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella in filo crust

Tortellini in mushroom broth with fresh ricotta

Market fish lasagne with smoked mozzarella

Maybe we didn't come on the right night for servie, but we had to pour our own water the whole time, which while being nit-picky, if a restaurant isn't that busy, its a little bit annoying. They give you a nice box of breads when you sit down, to be enjoyed with olive oil and fresh pepper at the table. The mozzarella in filo crust was pretty good. I think retrospectively that we should have ordered their winter salad instead. The tortellini was pretty good. The mushroom broth was flavorful and the ricotta was nice and fluffy but it was overall, meh. The fish lasagne was good. Maybe a tad on the overbaked side, especially the top. The smoked mozzarella was a good touch.

The decor at Antica Pesa is really lovely. The people that work there are good looking and the other patrons were older than us two girls, but stylish and trendy. The bar is stylish and trendy, and they have a fireplace. I really wanted to forget that I had to work the next day, curl up, and sip on some after dinner drinks in front of the fireplace in the cozy-looking leather couch they have in front of it.  Antica Pesa really wants you to curl up there. I think I would recommend this place, but I really need to go there again and eat more vegetables in order to give it a full review.
